This olive oil is made from a natural blend of the Greek olive varieties "Manaki" and "Throumpolia Aigaiou". It is characterized by a complex aroma and a diverse taste with medium intensity and a fruity, slightly bitter and spicy aftertaste. It combines aromas of green vegetables, tomatoes, lemons, citrus fruits, olive leaves, herbs, tea and thyme. Therefore, it has been awarded the Great Taste Award (1 star) in recent years. This particular olive oil has an interesting peculiarity: slightly different organoleptic properties result each year. This is due to the natural blend of the two varieties, which creates an individual taste each year and provides a pleasant surprise.

The olive oil has a very low acidity and a high polyphenol content. Therefore, it bears the health claim according to Regulation (EU) No. 432/2012. This particular olive oil contains over 5 mg of polyphenols per 20 g of olive oil and, according to EU Regulation 432/2012, is among the oils that protect against the oxidation of blood lipids. The substances oleocanthal and eleasin show significant biological activity and possess anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, cardioprotective and neuroprotective properties. The olive oil also has a very high content of squalene, a natural lipid that has been shown to have strong antioxidant effects and strengthen heart health and the immune system.

Recommended daily dose: 20 g = 1.5 tablespoons raw. Enjoy it for breakfast with muesli and yogurt, in salad, on bread or in various dishes, in fruit salad or dessert, or even pure as a shot.
